Biography

Simrat was Medical Advisor- Cardiac Care and Bone Health before taking over the role of “Ethics and Compliance Officer” for Lilly India February 1, 2013. She has been with Lilly for more than 5 years and has managed various portfolios successfully, including Cardiac Care, Bone health and GPS (Pharmacovigilance). She was instrumental in setting up the Global Patient Safety function in the affiliate and also played a key role in the launch of Effient.   Ensuring Lilly India continues to foster an environment of ethical and responsible business behavior. Integrating tone at Top with Tone in the Middle. Making a concerted effort to co-opt middle managers to deliver ethics and compliance education with a tone-in-the-middle program that empowers them to act as moral exemplars and ethics envoys to their teams.
