Balbir Singh

Biography

 Mr. Balbir Singh assumed office as the Vice President – India Region in 2014. Balbir started his journey with Emerson in 2011 as the Director of Corporate – IT in Emerson Information Technology Solutions, Mohali (EITS). EITS is one of the largest global IT Shared Service Centers at Emerson. Most of the Emerson business platforms operate out of EITS. Balbir was responsible for setting and growing the Corporate – IT function in India. In 2013, he took over as the Center Head of EITS. Under Balbir’s leadership, EITS has grown to having a sprawling campus with 430 strong IT professionals. Before joining Emerson, Balbir has held leadership roles in various other multinational organizations. He has also spent two years in United States of America in a consulting role. Balbir completed his post-graduate degree in Computer Science from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (TIET), Thapar University, Patiala and his Bachelor’s Degree in Science from Punjabi University.
