Nitin Phadnis

Biography

 â€‹Nitin Phadnis is the General Manager for Branson Ultrasonics, a business of Emerson Industrial Automation. Branson is an industry leader in the design, development & manufacture of equipment that is used for joining plastics using ultrasonic, vibration, laser, infra red, thermal & spin welding techniques, as well as for precision cleaning, cell disruption, liquid processin​g and metal welding. Nitin began his career at Emerson in India in 1995, initially as Business Manager and was soon promoted to the role of Country Manager for Branson. He was responsible for setting up and growing the operation for Branson in India, until he decided to move to the U.S. In 2000, he assumed the role of General Manager for Branson’s mid-tier product venture in Reno, Nevada, during which he developed & launched a new brand of ultrasonic plastic welders in the North American market. He then moved to Branson’s head office in Danbury, Connecticut in August 2003, as the Worldwide Industry Segment Manager, leading Branson’s business development effort in Medical and Electronics market segments. Since November 2010, Nitin has been deeply involved with Branson’s operations in Asia, developing & implementing strategic programs in marketing & business development while also leading India’s sales organization. Nitin is currently responsible for managing the overall operations for Branson in India, with head office in Navi Mumbai that is equipped to design and manufacture key components, develop applications and provide support to customers across India. Nitin received a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from College of Engineering, Pune and an MBA degree from University of Pune.
