Biography

 â€‹Pradipta Sen joined Emerson in January 2001 as the President of Emerson’s India operations. Under Pradipta’s leadership, India has seen a tremendous growth of the company’s sales and presence in th​e country to about USD 700Million and more than 10,000 employees in fiscal 2014. , He was named the President of Emerson’s India, Middle East and Africa region in 2011. As a world area leader now, Pradipta presides over 20 different manufacturing & service entities and 5 global engineering & development centers of Emerson, employing over 11,000 people and delivering annual sales of over US $2Billion. Prior to joining Emerson, Pradipta has spent over 20 years in leadership roles in sales, marketing, engineering and technical services in other organizations. Sen holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India.
