Biography

 Sridar Narayanswami was appointed as the Vice President & Managing Director of Emerson Climate Technologies India in October 2012. Emerson Climate Technologies is the world’s leading provider of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration solutions for residential, industrial, and commercial applications. It combines technically superior products and services that improve human comfort, safeguard food, and protect the environment.​ Sridar joined Emerson in 2004 as a Corporate Planning Manager at Emerson Electric Co., India, responsible for strategic planning, business development and M&A activities. He was then promoted as the Strategic Planning Manager for Emerson Process Management, Asia Pacific and moved to Singapore in 2006. In 2009, he took up a new role Director, Flow for India at Emerson Process Management where he managed the P&L responsibility. In 2011, Sridar moved back to Emerson Electric Co. as the Vice President for India before assuming his current role in 2012. Prior to Emerson, Sridar has held several roles at various multinational firms, including consultancy. Sridar holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Government College of Engineering, Pune and an MBA from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta.
