Sergio Luiz Dalmora

Biography

SERGIO LUIZ DALMORA has received his PhD in Biological Sciences (Molecular Biology) from the Federal University of São Paulo- School of medicine (1998). Currently, he is a full Professor at the Federal University of Santa Maria, Brazil, research Scientist of the National Council-CNPQ, and adviser of the Postgraduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences. His research has included biotechnology-derived products, biologicals, bioavailability and pharmacokinetic studies, validation of analytical methodologies and quality control of medicines. He published more than 88 articles in refereed scientific journals, and 100 articles in annals of scientific congresses, and three chapters of books. He is serving as an expert reviewer for journals like: Analyst, Analytical Methods, Talanta, Journal of Chromatography A, AOAC, Journal of Chromatographic Science and Toxlet. He has completed his administrative responsibilities as head of department, member of higher councils of Health Science Centre and of the education of the UFSM.
