Biography

Rahul Ranjan is a Graduate in Commerce from Delhi University and an associate member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Rahul has extensive experience of more than 13 years in Secretarial and Compliance Management. He joined Fortis Healthcare in 2012. In a short span of 3 years, as Head of the Corporate Secretarial function, he has successfully executed various projects relating to Funds Raising and International Divestment. He has vast experience in strategic corporate matters, including corporate restructuring, capital issuance, corporate legislation, foreign exchange matters and other Regulatory & Statutory compliances, along with dealing and corresponding with Regulatory and other Governmental Authorities in connection with the Company’s business. Prior to joining Fortis Healthcare, he has been associated with Religare Group & M/s Consortium Securities Limited in the capacity of Sr. Vice-President Compliance & Secretarial and Group Company Secretary & Compliance Officer respectively. As a senior governance professional with a perfect blend of legal & leadership expertise, Rahul has comprehensive experience in giving multi-disciplinary guidance & support to the Board of Directors and Management regarding the onus of various laws applicable to the company and other Corporate Governance and regulatory matters. He is a strategic planner with profound knowledge of existing systems & procedures, preparing business plans, designing internal control systems and also facilitating effective decision-making.
