Biography
D. Suba Chandran is Director at the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies (IPCS), New Delhi. His primary area of research includes Pakistan; Afghanistan; and Jammu & Kashmir. He is currently working on two books titled . The Gathering Storm: Pakistan in the Next Decade and State Failure, Fragility and Stability in South Asia (to be published shortly). Some of his other research focus include ,Revisiting the New Silk Route: Gas Pipelines and Electricity Corridors in South and Central Asia, ,Early Warnings to Conflict and Peace Audit and taliban's Ideologies and Strategies. He edits an annual titled Armed Conflicts in South Asia, published by the Routledge. He writes a weekly column on regional security in Rising Kashmir, an English daily and regular commentaries in the Tribune and occasionally for other news papers.
