Biography
Ambassador Rajiv K umar Bhatia is the Director General, Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA) , New Delhi since June 2012. Earlier, a s a career diplomat, he served India with distinction for over thirty - seven years . He wa s India’s ambassador/high commissioner in four countries – Kenya, Myanmar, Mexico and South Africa. He holds a Master’s degree in political science from Allahabad University, India. He served as a lecturer in Meerut College, India for three years (1969 - 72).
