Biography
Dr. Vijay Kher, a sagacious Nephrologist in India, is currently an Executive Director - Nephrology in Fortis Escorts Heart Institute ​​​​, Okhla Road. Dr. Kher has established the Academic and Clinical departments of Nephrology at Shere Kashmir, Institute of Medical Sciences in Srinagar, SGPGIMS in Lucknow, Apollo Hospital and Fortis Group of Hospitals in New Delhi and NCR; and currently established the division at Medanta Medicity in Delhi yet again. The title of Chairman, Special Task Force, created by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, was conferred upon him. He bagged another award for optimising immunosuppression in Kidney Transplantation in India (for cost vs. quality).
