Dr. Jai Dev Wig, MBBS, MS (General Surgery), MCh (Surgical Gastroenterology), DNB (General Surgery, Surgical Gastroenterology ), having illustrious experience of 40 years, is Director & Head of the department of General Surgery. Prior to joining Fortis Hospital, he worked as Professor & Head of the Department, General Surgery at Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. Apart from the teaching experience, he is well experienced in conducting General Surgery especially Gastrointestinal Surgery & Surgical Oncology covering the areas of Liver, Gall Bladder, Pancreas, Thyroid, Breast, Adrenals. \ Minimally Invasive techniques for the treatment of pancreas, bile duct & gallbladder.
