Biography

A Consultant at the department of Diabetology & Endocrinology, Dr.Kalyan Kumar Gangopadhyay has several years of experience in his field and has practiced for many years in India and abroad. Before going off to the UK for 12 years, he completed his MD from India. When in UK, Dr.Kalyan Kumar Gangopadhyay studied Diabetology & Endocrinology, and in the last 2 years he worked as a Consultant in University Hospital, Birmingham. He also completed his MRCP from London and CCT from UK. Dr.Kalyan Kumar Gangopadhyay is a member of many reputed institutions, including, Integrated Diabetes & Endocrine Academy, the Royal College of Physicians and Member of Endocrine Society of India. He is also the recipient of many accolades and honours, including Stephen prize for the best paper – West Midlands, UK, Owen Wade prize for the best case presentation – Birmingham, UK, Nussey prize for the best presentation – University hospital Birmingham, U.K and First prize for the best case presentation – Society of Endocrinology, London & West Midlands annual registrar meet, Birmingham
