Biography
Mr. Hariharan and his team have developed the manufacturing process for GangaGen’s lead phage products and bacteriophage-derived recombinant protein ectolysin, P128, the Company’s lead therapeutic candidate. He has extensive experience in the process development of therapeutic bacteriophages, phage derived antibacterial agents and in their manufacturing (cGMP) for preclinical and early clinical phases of drug development. Prior to joining GangaGen in 2004, Mr. Hariharan was responsible for the fermentation process development of therapeutic proteins in yeast expression systems at Bigtec Private Limited, Bangalore. Mr. Hariharan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering. He received his Master’s of Engineering Degree in Biotechnology from the Anna University, Chennai, India.
