Eric Stahre

Biography

"Eric Stahre is President and CEO of Global Molecular Imaging (MI) and Computed Tomography (CT), a $3+ billion global segment within GE Healthcare. Eric entered GE through RCA Astro-Electronics in 1986, serving in a variety of engineering, product management and business development positions for this leading provider of communications and remote sensing satellites. Eric joined GE Healthcare’s MR business in 1996 as Manager, Systems & Applications Engineering. He was promoted to general manager in 1998 and led MR’s global technology organization In late 2000, Eric was appointed to lead GE Healthcare’s Molecular Medicine efforts. Eric and his team developed and executed a strategy of collaborative R&D, business partnerships with pharmaceutical/biotech companies and collaborative R&D. Following the announcement of GE’s Amersham acquisition, Eric moved to GE Healthcare’s UK headquarters in the role of GM, Medical Diagnostics Integration. In 2005, Eric was promoted to lead the CT, PET, Nuclear Medicine, and Radiopharmacy’s global technology organizations as General Manager, Molecular Imaging and CT Engineering. In 2007, he was named General Manager of Global CT’s premium segment and has progressed in product management roles of increasing responsibility. In 2013, Eric was appointed Vice President and General Manager of Global CT and PET/CT. Eric served on the Board of Directors of BioForward, Wisconsin’s biotechnology and medical device association. He holds computer science degrees from Penn State and Villanova, and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management"
