Joe Shrawder

Biography

"Joe Shrawder is the President & CEO of GE Healthcare Global Services. Appointed in July 2014 and based in Waukesha, Wisconsin, Shrawder oversees the global development and execution of GE Healthcare’s Service solutions and operations around the globe. Shrawder joined GE in 1986 and most recently served as the President & CEO of GE Healthcare Latin America, based in São Paulo, Brazil, where he drove sales and services growth, channel development and deployment, manufacturing localization and strategic partnerships for the region. Prior to this role, Shrawder led GE Healthcare’s mobile C-arm business, overseeing the development, manufacturing and global distribution of GE’s surgery imaging products. Other previous roles in GE Healthcare include: GM, Healthcare Systems Services; GM, Global Value Products; GM, GoldSeal refurbished products and accessories; and Global Services Quality Leader. Shrawder began his career with GE Aerospace on the Manufacturing Management program in Syracuse, NY and Philadelphia. He subsequently spent 13 years in GE Quartz, the world’s leading supplier of fused silica products to the semiconductor, lighting, and optical fiber industries. Joe joined GE Quartz as Shop Operations Manager in Newark, Ohio before progressing through roles in global technology transfer, applications engineering, product management and business development in Cleveland. Prior to joining GE Healthcare, Shrawder spent seven years in Tokyo, Japan and Hamburg, Germany, as GM of Asia Pacific Operations and Managing Director of GE Quartz Europe respectively. Joe has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Moore School of Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Wharton."
