Biography

"Karim Karti is Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for GE Healthcare. Karim is responsible for driving the growth strategy globally for GE Healthcare. In his role, Karim will foster innovation in GE Healthcare and enable stronger collaboration with customers to build solutions that address the most pressing problems in healthcare. Karim is also focused on strengthening GE Healthcare’s go-to-market strategy and driving marketing & commercial excellence globally. He is based at GE Healthcare’s global headquarters in Chalfont St. Giles, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom, northwest of London. Previously, Karim was President and CEO of GE Healthcare Eastern & Africa Growth Markets (EAGM), leading and growing GE Healthcare in the emerging markets of Turkey, Central Asia, Russia & CIS, Middle East and Africa. Karim joined GE in 1996 as part of the GE Corporate Audit Staff. He joined GE Healthcare in 2000 in Global Business Development and served in several General Management, Commercial, Product Development & Services leadership roles in the United States, Europe and Asia, including President and CEO of GE Healthcare in Korea. Before joining GE, Karim was a Brand Manager with Procter & Gamble. Karim has an engineering degree from Ecole Centrale de Lyon in France and he also graduated from the Entrepreneur program of Business School of Lyon."
