Biography
Yatin is the Business Leader for GE Water & Process Technologies, South Asia. GE Water is a global business that focuses on the world’s most complex water-related challenges. It provides the most comprehensive set of chemical, equipment solutions & services that address the growing demand for increased water availability and quality, while improving customers’ productivity and meeting more stringent environmental regulations. Yatin is a 15-year GE veteran with broad leadership experience in Commercial, Technology & Product Management in Asia-Pacific. Prior to his current role, he was the Engineered Systems Sales Leader for East Asia (ASEAN, Japan & Korea) & Channels Sales Leader for Asia-Pacific. He started his career as Computational Fluid Dynamics Analyst, joined GE in 2000 as Research Engineer at John F. Welch Technology Center, Bangalore & then acquired diverse experience across geographies, businesses and functions through progressive leadership roles. He is a graduate of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai where he received the Integrated Masters of Technology in Chemical Engineering. He & his team is committed to find solutions to water-related challenges for customers & community through technology & innovation. He has also co-authored patents & publications in domain of Water & Wastewater treatment.
