Alex Mandl is currently the non-executive chairman of Gemalto, a provider of security-led technology solutions and services resulting from the merger of Gemplus International S.A. and Axalto Holding N.V. From June 2006 until December 2007, he served as executive chairman of Gemalto and between August 2002 and May 2006, Mandl was president, CEO, and a member of the Board of Directors of Gemplus. Prior to Gemplus, he was a principal in ASM Investments was chairman and CEO of Teligent, a company he started in 1996. From 1991 to 1996, Mandl was with AT&T where he served as president and COO and as CFO before that. He also serves on the Boards of Accretive Health, Levant Power Corporation, and Arise Virtual Solutions, where he is Lead Director, Chair of the Audit Committee. Mandl previously served on the
