Biography
Ongmu is an alumnus of XLRI, Jamshedpur. She started her career as an MT with Essar Oil and then moved to Duracell (Gillette) to work across Rewards, Operations, TA & Development, and HR Business Partnering, in both Manufacturing and Commercial Operations. Early in her career, she has worked in the International HQ for Gillette and as HR Manager – Middle East & North Africa based in Dubai. She was back in India in 2003 as Head of Rewards & Talent Acquisition for India HR Shared Services and soon became the Regional Rewards Manager for AMEE Asia. In 2007 she joined Baxter Healthcare as Director - Total Compensation & HR Operations. During her 22 year long career, she has worked with Multi National companies like Gillette, Proctor & Gamble and Baxter Healthcare in various Regional leadership and HR business leadership roles. She also has robust work experience across India, US, Asia .Her last assignment was as Director HR – Emerging Asia (India, Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia) with Baxter Healthcare.
