Biography
Satish holds a Bachelors and Masters degree in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutics from Gulbarga University and Karnataka University respectively and a PhD in Pharmaceutics from Auburn University in Alabama. Before joining the Industry, Satish taught Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy in India and in the US. His first venture into the industry was with a generic company called Seatrace Pharmaceutics in Rainbow City, Alabama where he helped setup their R&D and QC labs. He joined GSK (then SmithKline Beecham) in 1997 as Sr. Formulation scientist working on GI products and lead the development of TUMS Smoothies. Since then Satish has lead various formulation development or device development projects with a focus to improve the consumer experience. Over the last 19 years he has held various roles with increasing responsibilities.Between 2009 – 2011 he has spent 3 years in Gurgaon leading the Wellness and Oral Care team. Satish’s last role was to lead global product development for wellness based in Parsippany NJ.Satish has relocated to India for his second stint here in September 2015
