Biography
She is the Associate Professor in the Department of Biotechnology (Goa University).She has more than 10 years of experience. She has done her Ph.D. (Life Science, Bombay University; 1989)and since then she is in the field of teaching.
Research Interest
Her research interests includes Biodegradation of oils spills and tar balls by selectively developed, genetically superior, marine microbial consortia. Establishment of methods to assess risks due to recombinant DNA in marine environment.
