Biography
She is the Professor of Biotechnology in Goa University. She has more than 15 years of experience. She has done her Ph.D (Biochemistry, IISc, 1987. Her field of interest is to Study agarases, xylanases, lipases and proteases of special characteristics of commercial importance from marine microorganisms. Biodiversity & ecology of hypersaline and sulphate reducing bacteria. Processes for preparation of toxins and other bioactive substances from bacteria and higher marine organisms
