Reader in Organic Chemistry (Under Merit Promotion Scheme) from 05-02-1993 to 31-05-1995 4. Reader in Analytical Chemistry (Under Direct Recruitment) from 1st June, 1995 to 31st May 2003 5. Professor from 1st June 2003 onwards. Administrative Experience 1. Worked as Warden of Krishna Hostel during 1990-1992. 2. Worked as Warden Kaveri Hostel during 1991-1992. 3. Worked as BOE Member and BOE Chairman of M.Sc. Organic and Analytical Chemistry Examinations many times in our University. 4. Worked as BOE Member of Kuvempu University, Shimoga; Karnatak University, Dharwad; Bangalore University, Bangalore and Sahyadri Science College (Autonomous), Shimoga. Industrial Experience 1. Worked as Shift Chemist at Karnataka Soaps & Detergents, Ltd., Bangalore. from 28-03-1981 to 4 -10-1981. 2. Worked as Development Chemist at Krystal Chemicals, Bangalore from 5-10-1981 to 31-10-1982.
Research Interest
Areas of Specialization i) Synthesis and Pharmacological Evaluation of Heterocyclic compounds. ii) Co-ordination chemistry and iii) Drug Analysis.
