Dr. Shashi Kant Mahajan is an Associate Professor at Department of Surgery and Radiology College of Veterinary Sciences, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University Ludhiana, India.
Research Interest
Working on development of various diagnostic and therapeutic protocols for ophthalmic affections in Veterinary Practice. Involved in research on ultrasound guided biopsy of abdominal organs in dogs. Conducted research on diagnosis, medicinal and surgical management of abdominal affections in dogs. Involved in clinical research on oral and dental affections in canines. In bovines, involved in application of intramedullary interlocking nailing on long bones. In equines work is being done on perineal lacerations, caesarean section and colic. Various preanaesthetics like Acepromazine, Midazolam and Xylazine are being evaluated for Ketamine-isoflurane anaesthesia in equines.
