Dr. Varinder Uppal is an Associate Professor at Department of Anatomy, College of Veterinary Science, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana, India
Research Interest
Histological, histochemical and ultrastructural studies : Histomporphochemical studies, ultrastructural details and histoenzymic localization of different enzymes of phosphatases, oxidoreductases and esterases are being conducted in different organs of animals particularly buffalo and birds.Development anatomy :Histogenesis and morphogenesis of the organs of buffalo like male and female reproductive systems has been carried out. Reproductive biology : A study on buffalo ovarian follicular dynamics is being conducted. In this aspect a seasonal variation in the distribution of preantral, antral and atretic follicles has been studied.
