Biography
Prof. Prodyut Bhattacharya is Former Dean of University School of Environment Management at GGS Indraprastha University, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, New Delhi. He is Professor in the area of Natural Resource Management (NRM).Basic job responsibility is teaching, research, Extension, consulting and academic administration. He has 25 years of experience in research, training and teaching for post graduate and PhD level. A fellow of Beahrs Environmental Leadership Program (ELP) of the University of California, Berkley, USA and Visiting Scientist fellowship (JSPS) under University of Tsukuba, Japan.
Research Interest
His research interest pertain to the broad NRM issues and Livelihood linkages; in subject area of Biodiversity Conservation, Forest Ecology, Agroforestry, Sustainable NTFP Management, effect of climate change, Environmental management, Urban-forestry, Rural Development & Governance, Certification and Sustainable Forest Management
