Udita Taneja

Biography

Prof. Udita Taneja obtained her BTech degree from IIT, Delhi. She pursued her MS and PhD from Tulane University, USA. This was followed by a post-doctoral fellowship at the Mayo Clinic, USA. On her return to India she obtained an MBA degree from IIT, Delhi. Prof. Taneja has teaching, research and industry experience of 23 years both in India and USA. Her corporate experience in India includes having worked in the IT industry developing healthcare applications. Her current areas of research are Information Systems, Healthcare Management and Management of Technology. She has to her credit an AICTE sponsored research project on eHealth. Prof. Taneja was the Coordinator of the USMS PhD program for 10 years. She is currently on the editorial board of a national journal and a peer reviewer for an international conference. She teaches courses in Information Systems Management and Business Research Methods. She has also taught courses in Information Technology Management, Quantitative Methods, Business Intelligence and Applications, Software Project Management, Network Applications and Management.
