Amit Kumar Rustagi

Biography

 Amit heads the Information Technology function at GVK BIO. He joined GVK BIO in 2014 and serves on its Executive Committee. He brings over 21 years of experience in Information technology across various platforms in consulting, solutions and infrastructure management.   In his previous assignments Amit has handled large global IT infrastructure projects in Drug Discovery, Manufacturing and Development. He was influential is developing and managing life sciences products, work flow based R&D applications and LIMS & ELN implementation. He has worked on developing IT enabled solutions for Medicinal chemistry, Computational chemistry, Biology, Screening, Structure biology, Bio & Chem Informatics, Analytical labs and Clinical products. Prior to GVK BIO Amit headed the IT for all the  drug discovery group companies of Jubilant Biosys and was also associated with CMC Limited. Amit holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Gulbarga University, Karnataka.
