Biography
Ashutosh Singh is Associate Professor of Electronics Engineering at Harcourt Butler Technical University, Kanpur, India. He teaches Analog Communication, Digital Communication, Signals and Systems and Signal Analysis and related courses. His research focuses on Peer-to-peer networks, Reliability in networks, Channel Coding and Network Coding. He has worked extensively on reliability approaches in peer-to-peer multicasting networks specially flash crowd reduction problem in these networks. He has also worked on efficiency enhancement in Wireless Sensor Networks and distributed algorithms for mobile Ad-hoc Networks and a few aspects of Social Networks and Small World Networks. He is Coordinator for UG program and Industry Attachment program in the department. He has been Co coordinator for many years in project IMPACT and IMPACT-SSS running in the department, a joint project of World Bank and Swiss Government. He is also a member of Committee for syllabus revision in Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh. He received his masters from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and has submitted his PhD thesis at Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
