Biography

Vandana Dixit Kaushik is Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Harcourt Butler Technical University, Kanpur, U.P., India (formerly Harcourt Butler Technological Institute, Kanpur, U.P., India). She joined H.B.T.I. in February, 2003 and has vast teaching and research experience. She teaches various subjects like Digital Image Processing, Database Management, Operating Systems, E-Commerce etc both at graduate and under graduate levels. She completed her Ph.D. in 2011 from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam University, Lucknow, U.P,India. and is currently guiding two Ph.D. scolars in areas of current international needs. Worked in close collaboration with various other Academic institutes like HNB Garhwal University (Archaeology Department), Guindy College of Engineering, IISC Bengaluru, Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and with industries like Intel. She was the member of Multicore Curriculum Development team at UG level under the convenorshipof Prof. H.S. Jamadagni, Chairman, CEDT, IISc, Bengaluru. This entire curriculum development project was sponsored by Intel, Bengaluru. Has reviewed many International Journal and Conference papers of good impact. She is currently the member of Board of Studies of CS/ IT/ MCA of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam University, Lucknow and H.B.T.U, Kanpur. She has presented papers and attended many international conferences in India and abroad.
