Biography

 Arun Pai is Corporate Vice President - Commercial Industries, Americas, at HCL Technologies. Arun’s charter is to grow the Commercial Industries Portfolio which includes diverse industry verticals such as High Tech, Automotive, Industrial & General Manufacturing, Process & Chemical, Aerospace & Defense, Energy & Utilities, Oil & Gas, Travel, Transportation and Logistics. Arun manages key customer relationships with Fortune 1000 companies and drives new business development across industry verticals. Prior to this role at HCL Technologies, Arun was Executive Vice President for the High Tech & Manufacturing vertical at HCL and under his leadership the vertical saw market leading growth and augmented the HCL manufacturing brand within his portfolio. He created market dominating traction through a combination of domain based solutions, GTM models and frameworks across the manufacturing value chain encompassing SCM, Aftermarket, Predictive Analytics, MRO and PLM. He has over 25 years of experience in IT spanning strategic and transformational work for his industry customers, thereby delivering tangible business value in areas including Total Outsourcing, Application Managed services, Product Engineering, Business Process Outsourcing and Infrastructure Services. He’s driven business in various markets like Taiwan, Europe, India and North America. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Electrical communications from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur
