Biography
Rahul Singh is President of HCL Technologies’ Financial Services Division offering IT, Infrastructure and BPO services to HCL's global clients across Banking, Capital Markets and Insurance. He is responsible for leading this business, developing client relationships and investing in strategic initiatives which meet the next generation technology and operations needs of financial services and technology clients. Backed with 30 years of rich experience across industry segments such as Outsourcing, Technology, Banking and Financial Services, Rahul is credited as the pioneer in the Financial Services—Business Process Outsourcing in India. Rahul started his career with Citibank in 1986 and over the years, occupied various positions in business and technology. In 1998, he founded Citigroup Global Services (aka eServe International)—India’s first financial services BPO organization. As the CEO and Managing Director of the firm, he grew eServe to a 15,000-member organization with multiple service lines. Rahul is a Mechanical Engineer and an MBA (Finance) graduate from Mumbai University, India. He has also completed a Senior Executive Program from the London Business School, UK.
