Amalesh Mishra

Biography

 Amalesh Mishra heads the APMEA Operations for Hexaware. He joined Hexaware from HCL Technologies, where he was general manager and regional sales director, APJ. In his more than 15 years in the IT industry, Amalesh has displayed remarkable versatility in managing new challenges and opportunities across multiple regions, domains, and roles. He started his career with Infosys as a programmer in Mainframe technologies and quickly rose to manage a team of more than 20 consultants in the cards and payments domain. After his MBA, he was based in US working with Cognizant, managing existing and new business for large accounts such as American Express and Ameriprise Financial. He subsequently moved to HCL's infrastructure services division and handled business in the US, APAC, and India regions. Amalesh also handled the systems integration business at HP in India for over two years and won many marquee deals for HP. In his latest role at Hexaware, he ramped up the APAC region into a significant region for infrastructure services in two years. His core skills include complex deal structuring, contract negotiations, and relationship building. He holds an MBA from ISB Hyderabad, and a mechanical engineering degree from NIT Allahabad. Currently he is based out of Hexaware's Singapore office.
