Biography
Vijay Iyer has over 25 years in the industry, including 15 years in providing professional consulting services to clients in operational improvement, business and IT strategy development, and technology integration. Vijay was the CEO of Cignex, the largest pure play open source consulting company. Prior to Cignex, Vijay spent over 14 years at HCL Technologies where he played a key role in the creation of a few industry verticals, as well as the enterprise application services and the enterprise transformation services lines of business at HCL. He was also responsible for delivering large, strategic, and integrated multi-service engagements. Prior to HCL, Vijay was the CIO of a large manufacturing and distribution organization heading business and IT strategy. He was also instrumental in re-engineering the business processes of the organization and improving productivity.
