Indra Nath Dey

Biography

Mr. Indra Nath Dey has done his B.Com (Hons.) from the University of Calcutta and LL.B. from the University of Burdwan. He has done his LL.M. from Chanakya National Law University, with specialization in Corporate Law and Governance. He worked as Legal Manager in ICICI and Bajaj Allianz. He joined the bar of Calcutta High Court and practiced for about two years. He attended and participated in many seminars and workshops. He wrote an article which has been published in a reputed journal.

Research Interest

He was the Joint Convener, Executive Committee for organizing SAARC Summit on Legal Education organized by the Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Siliguri. He presented a research paper on “Legal education as an instrument of social change in the SAARC region” in the Summit. Before joining Hidayatullah National Law University he worked as a faculty in the Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Siliguri. His area of interest includes Constitutional law, Corporate Law & Governance and Banking law.
