Biography
Mr. Manoj Kumar is Assistant Professor of Law. He joined the Hidayatullah National Law University, New Raipur on 27th July, 2011. He teaches Law of Torts, Family Law, Indian Penal Code, Labour Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Code of Criminal Procedure, Administrative Law, Criminal Law (Hons.), Law of Contract Papers. Prior to joining HNLU he has also delivered some Guest Lectures at the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi. Currently he is pursuing Ph.D. in Law from the HNLU, New Raipur itself on “Environment Impact Assessment: An Instrument to Achieve the Goal of Sustainable Development”. He qualified UGC NET in Dec 2010. He completed LL.M. from The Indian Law Institute, New Delhi in the year 2010.
Research Interest
He did his research work on “Evolution and Development of Environmental Jurisprudence: A Study of Judicial Contribution’’ as Dissertation as part of his LL.M. and for this he was awarded distinction marks. He Graduated in Law from the prestigious Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in the year 2008. He is also a Science Graduate from The Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur popularly known as B. R. Ambedkar Bihar University. He has also participated & presented papers in some National and International Seminars and Conferences. His area of interest includes Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Environmental Law, Criminal Law and Business Law.
