Rana Navneet Roy

Biography

Before joining the Hidayatullah National Law University, New Raipur as Assistant Professor of Law on permanent position on 21st December 2011, Mr. Rana Navneet Roy had been pursuing Ph.D. in Law as Junior Research Fellow in Law School, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He did LL.B. and LL.M. from the same university in 2008 and 2010 respectively. He qualified UGC-NET/JRF and had been receiving Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) since September 2010. He has been a bright student and has secured first class throughout in his academic career. He got distinction for his LL.M. dissertation. He has participated and presented more than fifteen research papers in various national and international Seminars and Conferences. He participated in the International Peace Workshop held in Kathmandu (Nepal). He also has to his credit more than twelve research articles in different national and international journals of repute including some edited volume of books. He has been associated with academique, a discussion group of BHU, Varanasi in different capacity including Secretary (2009-10) and President (2011-12).

Research Interest

His area of interest includes Environmental Law, Law of Taxation, Law of Contract and Constitutional Law. He has been teaching these subjects at under graduate as well as post graduate level.
