He has done Ph.D. from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. He is working as Professor & Associate Dean in Homi Bhabha National Institute. Awards & Recognitions 1. 2015-Distinguished Faculty Award by HBNI for contributions to Research & Teaching in Chemical Sciences 2. 2014-Bronze Medal by Chemical Research Society of India for contributions in Theoretical & Computational Chemistry 3. 2012-Fellow of National Academy of Sciences India 4. 2007 & 2008-Represented India as Head Mentor in International Chemistry Olympiad 5. 2006-Dai-Ichi Fellow, UICT, Mumbai
