Biography
Dimple has done her Ph.D from Mumbai University and currently working as professor in Homi Bhabha National Institute. She has won many awards annd recognitions during her period. DAE-SSPS Young Achiever Award 2011. Member of National Academy of Sciences, India 2011, "Young Associateship" of Maharashtra Academy of Sciences for significant contribution in Chemical Sciences, 2008. "Visiting Scientist Fellowship" by DFG in University of Heidelberg, Germany, 2002. VSRP Awardee, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai, 1994.

Soft chemical synthesis of nanomaterials, Design of new optical nanomaterials for solid state lighting applications, Development of novel magnetic and multiferroic nanomaterials, Functional materials, Design of nanocomposites and hybrid nanomaterials for various applications
