Biography
Dr. Kedar Kulkarni obtained his B.Tech / M.Tech from IIT-Bombay, and Ph.D from the University of Illinois, USA. During his PhD, he made several algorithmic contributions to the field of mathematical optimization as applied to distributed parameter chemical and biological systems. Thereafter, he worked as a plant optimization engineer at Air Liquide in Houston, USA before joining GE global research where, among other research activities, he was instrumental in developing novel and efficient techniques to solve wind farm micro-siting optimization problems.
