Biography
I am working in the High Performance Computing group of IBM Research - India, New Delhi. I am currently involved in IBM FastForward project, where I am responsible for improving application performance on future exascale systems. The application kernels are first optimized using assembly instructions and later through the use of compilers supporting OpenMP 4.0 which introduced accelerator support through target directives. Research Interest
following two work streams: Look at the computational aspects of the weather and flood models for operational forecasting purpose. As part of this work, we evaluated and optimized WRF performance on IBM Blue Gene systems for nested domain configurations. I also worked on developing a GPU implementation of IBM flood forecasting model. Dissemination of weather and flood forecasts through the Web and Mobile portals.
