Biography
I am part of Watson Conversation Platforms group at IBM Research India. I am interested in applying deep learning to improve conversation systems. I completed my MS in Computer Science from University of California, San Diego (UCSD) in 2012. My Master's thesis was on 'Automatic Grammar Correction using PCFGs and whole sentence context". Upon completion of MS, I spent a couple of years at Information Extraction and Synthesis Lab (IESL) at University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMass Amherst). At UMass Amherst, I worked on learning and improving word representations and applying them to improve various NLP tasks such as Named Entity Recognition (NER).
