Biography

Parikshit moitra, Deepa Bhagat, Rudra Pratap and Santanu Bhattacharya received Gandhian Young Technological Innovation (GYTI) Award during the Festival of Innovation at Rashtrapati Bhavan on March 5, 2017. The Executive committee of BRICPL and Award jury committee of ICAABT-2017, confered Deepa Bhagat, BRICPL Science explorer award in ICAABT-2017, Orchha, MP, India on 2-04-2017. The executive committee of the society for Scientific and Social Development (SSSD) confers Deepa Bhagat its Best Scientist (Research) award-2015 for Nanoscience on the occasion of National conference of Emerging trends in Agricultural Sciences and its impact on sustainable livelihood during 25-26,February-2017 held at Shobit University, Meerut (UP), India. Recipient of Best paper presentation at the International conference on water quality and management for climate resilient agriculture 28th - 31st May, 2013 at Jain Irrigation, Jalgaon, Maharastra for the paper entitled "Release pattern of an infochemical, linalool under simulated climate change scenario" Deepa Bhagat., N, Bakthavatsalam., R. Srinivasa. Recipient of 'Fellow of CHAI 28.05.2013' awarded by Confederation of Horticulture Associations of India, New Delhi - 110078, India. Recipient of third prize at the International conference - 5th Bangalore Nano was held 6-7, December, 2012 at The Lalit Ashok, Bangalore for the poster entitled "Non target effect of Chitosan alginate nanoparticles on the biology of Aphid Lion, Chrysoperla zastrowi sillemi (Esben-Peterson) (Neuroptera:Chrysopsidae)" Deepa Bhagat, N. Bakthavatsalam, Chandish R Ballal, Srinivasa, R & Ramu, G. An Expert reviewed as DST- India-Brazil- South Africa (IBSA) nanotechnology initiatives, a collaborative flagship program basically focusing on development of sensors and nano-devices, nano-structured organic-inorganic hybrid solar cells, Nano-drug delivery system for antiretroviral and mycobacterium avium complex (MAC) drugs and water purification on October 3, 2012. Research Interest

Presently working on Synthesis of Nanomaterials to act as sensor for semiochemicals in pest management
