Biography
Fermentation and formulation of water based flowable Bacillus thuringiensis 20% a.i. standardized. Technology submitted to NAIP & DBT (Liquid Formulation (20% a.i.) of Indigenous Bacillus thuringiensis (PDBCBT1) for control of Lepidopterous Pests) for commercial uptake Characterized four indigenous B. thuringiensis isolates toxic to lepidopterous pests, liquid formulation field evaluated at NBAII farm and also at AICRP centres Characterized 104 Pseudomonas isolates for biocontrol PGPR and ISR activity. Improved talc based formulations developed Identified 42 Pseuodomonas isolates having saline and temperature tolerance. All identified by 16s rDNA analysis and accession numbers obtained from Genbank Identified and characterized endophytic bacteria occurring in chickpea, cotton, pigeon pea and tomato
