Biography

She is currently working as a Senior Scientist in ICAR - National Research Centre on Plant Biotechnology, India.

Research Interest

My major research area of interests are to understand molecular aspects of nutrient use efficiency in cereals with special emphasis on uptake efficiency and regulatory role of micro RNA in nutrient sensing and signaling. Current interests include understanding of root plasticity and its architecture in relation to nitrogen starvation, and identification of nitrogen responsive micro RNAs to unravel the regulatory role of miRNA in N use pathway in wheat
