Biography

I have worked in the field evaluation of insecticides and biopesticides. Innovative technology on Vector Control on Vector Borne Diseases (VBDs) in India and Abroad. Preparation of Master Plan for various cities / towns in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka based on ecology of various vectors of VBDs. Ecology of Vectors in Urban and Coastal areas in Tamil Nadu on Rain water Harvesting structures towards mosquitogenic conditions and its control, Epidemiology of dengue/chikungunya and outbreak investigations. Studies related to Outbreak investigations of various Vector Borne Diseases like Dengue, Chikungunya and Japanese encephalitis in various states (Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar) in India. Mosquito Colonization of various vector species for supporting all kinds of experimental studies within the centre as well as other institutional/Universities research students/scholars. Providing consultancy services for various Govt. as well as other national / International organizations towards control of vector borne Diseases.  Served as a brief period (1st August 2015 to 23rd August 2015) as Director in Charge of CRME under ICMR.
