Biography
Dr. Venu Gopal has worked extensively both in India and UK. He completed MD and DNB in Psychological Medicine at the National Institute of Mental Health & Neurosciences (NIMHANS Bangalore),& Specialist Psychiatric training (MRCPsych and CCST) in the UK. He worked as a consultant Psychiatrist in the UK for nearly 10 Years before returning to Hyderabad in October 2014. In particular, he has a special interest in Stress, Anxiety, Depression and Mood Disorders, as well as Neurodevelopment Conditions like ASD and ADHD among young people.
Research Interest
In clinical practice, Dr. Venugopal is appreciated by patients for his empathy and the time he spends in assessing his patients, as well as for his rational use of medications as well as psychological methods in treating his patients. He practices at Citizens Hospital, Nallagandla during the mornings, and at Apollo Clinics from (Kondapur and Manikonda). He is also available to consult at Idea Clinics (Madhapur) and Himagiri Hospitals (Gachibowli) by appointment. He is also available at Asha hospital, Banjara Hills.
