Research Interest

Food processing, the emerging frontier technology of the current century, is always a challenge to provide food sustenance to the growing population. If surplus production in seasons is not processed on time for future consumption, this may lead to serious social crisis. It becomes imperaative to develop appropriate technologies in the areas of surplus production, process automation and non-availability of technologies with regard to untouched forest productions and other various crops such as chironji, aloe vera, continuous withering of tea leaves, puffing (fat free) of snack food, extraction of neutraceuticals etc.
