Biography
Dr. Saroj Bohra has a distinguished academic career receiving two Gold medals in law during her graduation. She was also awarded National Merit Scholarship, 2004-05 for her academic excellence from J.N.V.University, Jodhpur. She received her doctorate degree in 2011 in the area of ‘Role of Socio- Economic Laws in Eradication of Poverty in India: A Functional Studies". Her research interests include Family jurisprudence, Criminal law, Poverty law and Business laws. She is supervising four research scholars. She is Coordinator, Research &Consultancy; Editor, Pragyaan: Journal of Law, empanelled in International Advisory and Reviewer Board of "SCOOP International Journal of Law and Politics". Dr. Bohra has been associated with the University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, Dehradun; Amity University Rajasthan, Jaipur and National Law University, Jodhpur. She has participated in over 12 National and International Seminars and Conferences as speaker or Chairperson, attended nine National & International training workshops. She has fifteen prominent publications to her credit in national and international journals of repute. Dr. Bohra has been actively involved in organising several Seminars/ Conferences, Moot Court Competitions, Workshops, literary & cultural fests. She is a life member of The Indian Society of Criminology; Indian Society of Global Law and Policy. Amongst others, she is member of Board of Studies, Academic Council, Board of Examinations, and Board of Research.
