Previously Professor, Reader, Senior Lecturer and Lecturer at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Department of Solid State Physics. Lecturer at the National Institute of Foundry & Forge Technology, Department of Materials Science, Ranchi during 1991-92 Post-docs at: MIT, Department of Materials Science & Engineering (Prof. Michael Rubner) Åbo Akademi University, Department of Physics (Prof. Henrik Stubb) CNR-Bologna, Institute of Molecular Spectroscopy (Prof. Carlo Taliani) Education: Ph.D. in 1987 from Jadavpur University, worked on experimental solid state spectroscopy M.Sc. in Physics from University of Calcutta in 1983, Special Paper: Solid State Physics
Research Interest
Range of electronic and opto-electronic devices, such as organic photovoltaic (OPV) devices, light-emitting diodes (LEDs), solar cells based on inorganic nanocrystals, perovskite solar cells, organic memory, molecular rectifiers, organic spintronics etc.
